From virtual support groups to meditation apps and online communities, technology offers new ways for Baby Boomers to stay socially connected and support mental health. Have you found any helpful apps or platforms that improve your mood or help you connect with others? Have you suggest some baby boomers to use these apps or platforms. How did it help?

My parents often use Facebook to stay in touch with our family and a few close friends. It helps them pass the time and stay connected. They also enjoy watching videos on YouTube, especially ones featuring dogs, since we’re all dog lovers in our homes. I think these help make them feel better somehow.

Technology like meditation apps and support groups helps Baby Boomers stay connected, reducing loneliness and stress.

Using technology can help aging baby boomers combat depression and loneliness by connecting them with loved ones through video calls, social media, and messaging apps. Virtual support groups, online therapy, and mental health apps offer accessible emotional support. Devices like tablets and smart speakers can also provide entertainment, cognitive games, or reminders for healthy routines. Even fitness trackers and meditation apps promote mental wellness.
