There is this guy in my workplace who says bad things about me, and I hate him. He has not done any personal harms to me but he speaks bad things about me. Then there is also a good guy who talks good things about me and I absolutely like him. This guy has not done any thing that has helped me, but I like him.
When someone says good things or bad things about you, why does it actually matter when it has nothing to do with your personal or professional life.
Do you like someone just because he/she has said something good about you, or do you hate someone just because he/she has said bad things about you?
