Have you ever been in a situation in your relationship when having sex isn't something that you're ready for? Unfortunately, you have to fulfill that role for your partner which always make you feel depressed whenever it's time for having sex.

How do you manage this kind of situation?

Fear of sex, often linked to past trauma, anxiety, or cultural influences, can lead to depression. It can affect self-esteem and relationships, and may result in emotional distress. Seeking therapy or counseling can help address these feelings.

I am a man and I won't ever subject a lady to have sex with me when she is not in the right frame of mind. She would definitely feel used after the act. And that can get her depressed easily. I always guage a lady's state of mind before I initiate sex.

Being afraid of sex can lead to depression. It might cause someone to feel ashamed, disconnected, or frustrated, especially if it's affecting relationships or self-worth. Talking to a therapist can help manage these feelings.

I can't say that I have been in this situation myself, but I do know that fear of sex is a very real thing for many, and it can cause depression.

All too often, those who fear sex or end up depressed because of it tend to have a demanding partner whose attitude is that they should be fulfilling their needs.

There is a condition called performance anxiety where people experience anxiety while trying to make love. There is also a psychological condition called asexual where the person does not have any interest in physical relationship, Mood disorders like depression and anxiety can significantly affect sexual desire, arousal, and satisfaction.

Yes i strongly believe the fear of sex can lead to depression, especially if this fear is related to a past bad experience or trauma.

People that are too old have a tough time having sex (the toxic food also plays a role). In that case, they would do everything to avoid it. It causes serious problems so it's no shock the ED industry in the US is huge.
