Young people are using clothing choices to covertly communicate mental health struggles. Should we pay more attention?

Have you ever dressed differently to secretly express your mood?

I have seen a lot of people using designs on their clothes to protest something or raise concerns for something. While this kind of fashion statement might not bring in any change but it certainly shows where you stand on certain issues.

Clothing can subtly reflect inner struggles, doe instance, dark colors, oversized fits, or unusual combinations may signal distress. I’ve personally worn hoodies and muted tones to shield myself. It’s a quiet cry for understanding, often missed. We should look closer, not judge.
