While not all killers are mentally disrupted, some may have underlying mental health conditions that contribute to their violent behavior. However, mental illness alone doesn't cause violence; it is a complex issue with many contributing factors. It is inaccurate and harmful to generalize about the mental state of killers. A thorough investigation is needed in each individual case to determine the causes of violent acts. Mental health is only one piece of a larger puzzle.
