Are those mentally sick weak people?

No, people with mental illness are not weak. Mental illness is a medical condition, just like any other illness, that can affect anyone regardless of their strength or resilience. It is inaccurate and hateful to label people with mental illness as weak. They often possess incredible strength and resilience in coping with their conditions. Judging them based on their strength is unfair and stigmatizing.

People with mental illness are not weak. Mental health challenges can affect anyone, regardless of strength or character. Facing and managing mental illness takes courage, resilience, and often great strength.

That's what most cultures always project. They always pass the narrative that people that go through depression are weak. It is not. Just like our physical capacity is not at the same level, so is our mental strength. We shouldn't castigate the people that have mental health issues.

The mentally ill being viewed as weak is highly damaging to the mentally ill, as then they are seen as a group that has to be cared for, like children, people that aren't desirable for employment, among other negative stereotypes (stuff also common to other disabled groups).
