What are the main barriers preventing accessible mental health care for LGBTQ+ youth, and what initiatives can be implemented to ensure they have adequate support and resources to address their mental health concerns?

Barriers to mental health help-seeking, include high levels of internalized sexual stigma,, fear of being discriminated against, and another is experiences of discrimination or a lack of sensitivity to LGBT+ issues

Sadly politicians have been pushing their agendas and rolling back healthcare for trans youth and this has been affecting them both mentally and physically. This is the case in the United States, and it's probably going to get more and more rough for the next four years. They're taking away the ability to seek gender affirming care for people 19 and younger. This means trans youth can no longer see therapists that help them, nor see endocrinologists who may prescribe medication for their gender dysphoria. Now they're forced to go through a puberty that will cause more mental anguish.
