To be honest, it might not heal everything, but it helps a little. When I went through heartbreak that year, I was eating anyhow and I don't even care. Later, I started taking my meals slowly. It felt like self-care. Like I was telling my body “I still got you.” So yeah, mindful eating won’t erase pain, but it’s one calm way to start feeling human again, especially when you have gone through different life challenges.
