Do you get more anxious when outside?

I noticed that I have a safe space and that safe space is my home. When I am at home I find my anxiety lowers unless there is something else causing it to spike and I just feel better being at home. When I have to leave the house to maybe go to an appointment, get some shopping or even run some errands that is when I notice that my anxiety gets worse and it can sometimes get even worse if the outside world is busier than normal.

Do you notice that your anxiety spikes more when you are outside compared to being inside? Do you have a safe space that helps you?

Sometimes I feel anxious outdoors as if something terrible might happen. However, I’m thankful I've managed to cope with it to some extent.

I work from home and I don't go outside frequently. I go for a walk or grocery shopping 3-4 times in a week. That's all. I don't become anxious when I go outdoors. Since I don't go outdoors every day, going outdoors come as very relaxing activity for me.
