I always feel intense physical exhaustion when I am mentally overwhelmed. With that mental drain, I am always unable to do any physical activity. If I don't fix that mental drain, I won't get enough energy levels to carry out physical activities.

Does mental drain lead to physical exhaustion for you too?

Mental drain can definitely lead to physical exhaustion. When your mind is overworked, whether from stress, decision fatigue, emotional strain, or long periods of concentration, it triggers physical symptoms like tiredness, muscle tension, headaches, and even sleep issues. The body and mind are closely connected, so mental fatigue often lowers energy levels, slows recovery, and weakens motivation to move or eat well. Over time, this can feel like a full-body burnout, not just a mental one. Rest, balanced routines, and genuine downtime are essential to break that cycle and restore both mental and physical energy.

When I am stressed out or anxious, I do not have any motivation to work, either on jobs that demand physical labor or mental labor. When I am mentally disturbed, I also feel physically exhausted. Therefore, keeping my mental health in better shape is my first priority.
