Does Your Neighborhood Help or Hinder Your Fight Against Loneliness?

A welcoming neighborhood can ease loneliness, while an isolating one can worsen mental health struggles. Have you found community in your neighborhood that supports your mental well-being, or do you feel disconnected? What steps have you taken to build connections, like joining local groups or starting small conversations?

I have very formal relationships with my neighbors, so they don’t really ease loneliness. But I understand how a close-knit neighborhood can help you feel seen and supported or, if it's unfriendly, it can deepen isolation. It really depends on the vibe.

My neighborhood doesn't actually help, so instead of trying to relying on them, i look for personal ways to find loneliness. By keeping myself busy and watching movies and doing other activities.
