This is not something any doctor suggest people to do but all of us listen to music whenever feeling down. It seems that there is some connection between music and human mind. Music is after all frequency and specific frequency is good for us. Some people enjoy loud music, some enjoy romantic, violin sound. It seems to me that music prefference changes depending on our mood. This is not something we pick, it is more subconscious.

What do you think of it?

Music has a profound impact on the human mind. Different frequencies and genres can elicit various emotional responses, and our music preferences often align with our moods. The connection between music and our subconscious is intriguing, and many find solace and upliftment in listening to music when feeling down.

There is power in music, I can't even count the number of times music has helped. There are times where good music has helped me battled depression or even helped me think clearly.

Well, I haven't tried music as a therapy and I do not know anyone personally who has tried music therapy for mental health, however, as someone who likes to listen to music, I have found that listening to your favorite music immediately changes your mood and makes you feel relaxed and calm
