My Quote not just for the Day but for the New Year: “I’m going to take the red pill.”

People like to say that they wish there was a pill they could take for happiness. Of course, we all know there is not. But even though there isn't one I am going to pretend that there is.

My inspiration was an article I read about Keanu Reeves, on of my favorite actors.

“Take the red pill: The most famous scene in "The Matrix" is when Reeves's character Neo is offered the choice between taking the red pill or the blue pill. The red pill ... he says. “It represents the best of who we could possibly be to ourselves and other people."”

BACKGROUND: My late husband and I were struggling with a difficult problem. He wanted me to tell him the truth and that way he could work on solving the problem. I told him the truth. His response was “That doesn't make sense.” Frustrated and a tad bit angry, I replied back: “Do you want the truth? Or do you want me to tell you something that make sense? Sometimes people do things that don't make sense. But they did it and that's a fact which makes it the truth. AND that means … The truth doesn't always make sense.”

I don't know who said this but I found this quote very interesting. The quote makes me understand that I might be powerful today but time is more powerful than me
