Side Effects, have they stopped you from taking a certain medication?

Have you tried a new med, but the side effects were just too bad to continue?
Don’t you hate the ones that say, “Once you adjust to the medication, usually within 2 weeks, this side effect may go away.”
WHO has the time to wait it out for 2 weeks?
And what if it doesn’t go away?

No, I haven’t found a med worth suffering through awful side effects for weeks. "Just wait it out" feels like gambling with my health. What if it "doesn’t" improve? I’d rather trust my body and advocate for alternatives. Waiting in misery isn’t self-care.

It's always very important to take drugs based on prescription. If you're having serious side effects from the drugs, stop taking them immediately and consult your doctor ASAP. Side effects from drugs can be fatal in some cases.

I have also struggled with side effects of medications. Mine is dizziness and nausea and sometimes it gets unbearable. When it became too frequent, I switched to a different medication.
