Suicide Awareness in Men

According to one statistic, in the United Kingdom, every week 84 men die by suicide, that is 12 per day and one man every 2 hours.

Stop telling men that they aren't allowed to cry or that it makes them "less of a man."

Fellas, I want you to know that it's ok to talk about your mental health.

One of the reasons why men do not admin their mental health conditions is because society has groomed them to be strong and men tend to believe that mental health issue is an issue of weakness.

Suicide awareness in men is crucial as they are more likely to die by suicide. It is important to address mental health stigma, promote open communication, and provide access to resources and support. Education, outreach, and early intervention can help save lives and promote overall well-being.

It's a myth that only women suffer from mental health issues. A lot of the stigma is around men not being able to show their feminine side or show any emotions, as it will display weakness being the alpha male. Suicide is real, and if anyone is reading it who suffers from the condition, there's help out there.

Men are much more vulnerable to being depressed than women. Having to provide of which you would be regarded as a failure if you don't is enough to make any man depressed. But suicide is for the weak though. A mentally strong man fights to the end and doesn't run away by taking his life.

Suicide is a real problem with men, and I'd say most of the root would be problems with women, and the problem they have with women is they are too attached to them. It's like in Buddhism (or Christianity) where people are reminded to lose attachments.

So, I wouldn't recommend men taking medication for depression but rather treating the root problem.
