The Anxiety of Time Passing Too Fast

As we get older, time seems to speed up, and this realization can create existential anxiety. Feeling like we’re “running out of time” leads to pressure, regret, or overcommitment. Mindfulness and prioritizing meaningful experiences can help slow the perception of time. How do you stay present despite life’s fast pace?

It's funny, I used to get really sad and depressed when I was a teenager and I knew that I was growing up and time wasn't going to stop or slow down. These days as I'm approaching my mid 30's I guess I just don't think about my inevitable end. I just live in the moment now and I don't get as sad as I used to. I rarely get depressed about time going on and getting older these days.

I feel the pressure that time is running too fast when I have tasks to complete and the dateline is approaching. I also have that feeling when I have set goals to achieve and the progress is not commensurate with time. It puts me under lots of mental pressure and physical stress being in such situations.
