Victim mentality

I don't know where to put this topic so I will put it here.
Since the boom of internet I have noticed that plenty of youngsters have this victim mentality where they are not ready to embrace maturity and present themselves as victims of this or that. When they did something wrong, and it is time for consequences, they play racial card or transphobic card. It's just crazy. Why are people becoming so weak and unable to stand their ground?

A victim mentality refers to a mindset where individuals see themselves as constantly being harmed or oppressed, often feeling powerless to change their circumstances. This perspective can lead to a lack of personal responsibility, blame-shifting, and difficulties in overcoming challenges or setbacks.

Several factors might contribute to a perceived increase in victim mentality among some young people. The internet and social media can expose individuals to a constant stream of information and narratives, potentially shaping their perspectives. Likewise, societal shifts and cultural conversations around identity and social justice may influence how individuals understand and express their experiences.
It's important to approach this topic with nuance, recognizing that individual experiences and responses vary greatly.

I hate it when people unnecessarily feel that some persons are out to get them. Be responsible for goodness sake. And stop playing the victim card in everything. It makes such people so toxic to be around.
