Do you lose your appetite when you get scared?

This happens to me every single time. In fact, I don’t even need to wonder if I’m about to have an “anxious day” if for some reason I have no urge to eat breakfast. Or anything, for that matter.
Some people do stress-eating. I can’t do that with no appetite.
Does anxiety affect your appetite?

I’ve noticed that fear can make me lose my appetite. When I'm anxious or scared, my body goes into fight-or-flight mode, which can suppress hunger. It’s like my focus shifts entirely to the stressor, and food feels unimportant.

Yes, without even experiencing it, yes I know that I would lose my appetite if I experience anything scary. I would not be able to eat anything at that point

I have faced this specific situation before when anxiety or fear stopped me from eating. The anxiety in my stomach prevents me from wanting to eat. When my fear or anxiety ends I become incredibly hungry because my appetite returns immediately.

I don’t lose my appetite when scared, but I’ve seen stress affect my eating. During tense moments, like tight deadlines, I might skip meals, so I keep snacks handy to maintain energy and focus.

When I have real fears about a particular thing or situation, I often get scared. It gets worse if that situation would have an effect on me directly. Normally, I won't be able to eat till that issue is resolved. When I burnt the clothe of an army general, I couldn't eat till I had to speak with him about the situation and he assured me everything was fine.

Well, I do not lose appetite when I am scared. If fact eating is one of my favorite ways to calm my nerves, eating helps me to control my emotions. After eating, I always feel relaxed.

I never bother myself about anxiety. If ever experienced it in my life, perhaps, I will lose my eating appetite. It is best not to entertain anxiety. You divert your thinking.
