Bullying and Its Impact

Bullying is common at school or workplace. Bullying can leave lasting emotional scars, affecting self-esteem and mental health. Seeking therapy, building a strong support system, and practicing self-affirmation might help, though. Have you experienced or witnessed bullying? What strategies or resources have helped you or someone you know cope with its effects?

The thing that is wrong with bullying is that it affects the psyche of a person and makes them timid. If not managed well, people that are bullied won't even be able to approach life at all. They won't even be able to talk to people. It would need a lot of support for someone to rise above the psychological effects of bullying.

When I was in school, I experienced bullying a lot. I would often be bullied because I had really blonde hair or because I was quite shy and timid, I was even bullied in my early school years for being short as well.

I never was able to take bullying too well and it always left me worried to go to school, very anxious and all I wanted to do was shut off.

I faced bullying during my time in high school, which was a really tough experience for me. Almost every day, I dealt with classmates who called me hurtful names because of my weight. On top of that, I also struggled with acne, which made me feel even less confident. It came to a point where I almost gave up on school because of the constant bullying. However, when I eventually lost some weight, some of those same classmates started treating me differently and talking to me like I was a normal person. But honestly, I chose to ignore them.

Bullying has a significant impact on learners ability to engage in their classes. Bullies don’t realise the impact that their actions have on others. If I witness it or suffer as a victim I will report it to a teacher or someone else who needs to know. No one should suffer in silence.

Bullying can break individuals and damage their psyche for life. If you know you can't fight a bully by yourself, always talk to people. I have seen people commit suicide simply because they were bullied. As individuals, we should always stand up for people that are bullied.

Bullying can have lasting emotional, psychological, and physical effects. It can lead to anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, impacting a person's social and academic life. Addressing bullying early and creating supportive environments is crucial for mental well-being.

The greatest effect of bullying is it's impact on self esteem. It makes you to feel so low about yourself. It makes you scared of life. And if care is not taken, a victim of bullying can easily commit suicide.

I was bullied in high school so I do tell an adult.my principals and parents. They all help stop bullying for me. You can avoid the bully and
Hold the anger. sometimes act brave, walk away, and ignore the bully.

Bullying can have long-lasting emotional, psychological, and physical impacts on individuals. Victims may experience anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and even post-traumatic stress. The effects can lead to difficulties in forming relationships, academic struggles, and long-term mental health issues. The trauma from bullying can persist into adulthood, affecting a person’s ability to trust others and engage socially. It's essential to address bullying early and provide support to those affected, offering resources like therapy and open communication to help them heal and move forward.
