Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) - has anyone tried this? This is what CBT stands for. It's offered for free in the UK, but there is a huge wait to be seen by the Adult Mental Health department if you choose to go publicly, rather than privately because of a lack of funding
No, I haven’t personally tried Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I’ve read that it’s highly effective for managing anxiety, depression, and negative thought patterns by helping people reframe how they think and respond.
This is the first time I've read something like this, so I clearly haven't tried it, but the only flaw I see so far is that you have to wait a long time to be served, as you say. That's clearly a big negative point.
