Anyone else?
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a lot calmer at night. Mornings can be rough.
You get that “unsure” I feel kinda crabby feeling + a strange anxiety following you around for the first half of the day.
Some doctors believe it has to do with the natural rise of cortisol in the morning, which makes serotonin go down.

Is your mood better in the morning, or at night?

I can totally relate to that morning anxiety! Mornings can feel rough, especially with the rush to get everything done. I find that I'm definitely calmer at night too, when there's less pressure. Some studies suggest that cortisol levels naturally spike in the morning, which can make anxiety worse, and as the day progresses, mood tends to stabilize. It's interesting how our bodies sync up with these natural rhythms. For me, nighttime feels like a time to unwind, while mornings can bring a sense of unease.

All correct. They even say if you are scheduled to take an anti anxiety med in the morning, try to wait one hour after waking up. It’s somehow good and natural to allow that morning cortisol burst to do its thing, rather than suppress it.
