Have you ever had a good old cry, and then felt worlds better? Crying is the most ancient and instinctual way to get out emotions. We all did this as babies. We cried when something was wrong. Or we needed something. As toddlers, we cry when we are afraid.
Have you ever resorted to just plain crying to relieve stress, anxiety, and/or depression?
Did it help?

Crying can be a natural stress-reliever. I’ve found that releasing emotions through tears can provide a sense of relief, reducing emotional tension. It can help reset mental clarity, offering a fresh perspective on a situation, even if temporarily.

Yes, . When we cry, our bodies release hormones like oxytocin and endorphins, which have calming and pain-relieving effects. crying can be a healthy way to relieve stress and improve emotional well-being. Crying can also be a way to release pent-up emotions.

I always cry like a baby when I need to cry. It really helps me find relief at the at the end. In my society, it is seen as a sign of weakness for a man to cry. But I don't know which one is more weakness when you bottle your emotions and end up completely broken in the end.

I find crying a powerful stress-reliever, releasing pent-up emotions like after a tough workweek. In my quiet bedroom, letting tears flow feels cleansing, easing tension and helping me regain clarity and calm.

I was raised in a culture where it was prohibited for males to cry. Crying was a symptom of weakness and it was against the societal norms for men to cry. The though has been so deep rooted in my mind that I don't cry in public, I do not even cry when I am in pain and there are people around me. However, I admit, I sometimes cry when alone, especially over my failure and mental pain.

Crying has really helped me to manage my depression. I don't know how it works but after you have been able to cry it out deeply, you always feel better. That's how crying has always worked for me. It is even better when I cry myself to sleep. I always wake up no longer depressed.

I have heard of people saying crying is a great way to express yourself and relieve stress when words and actions cannot do the trick. I have not tried this myself so I can't really say much about this method.
