Do you feel like the mental health industry attracts abusers?

They are always at the front with hands in the air to help, but they often bully the disabled, under the guise of help. What is the root of this problem? Why can't such people see what evil they're doing?

That's a serious and complex question. While most people in the mental health industry are genuinely committed to helping others, unfortunately, like in any field with power dynamics, it can sometimes attract individuals who misuse their authority. This is why strong ethical standards, oversight, and patient advocacy are essential.

I don't believe the mental health industry inherently attracts abusers, but like any field, there may be individuals who misuse their position. Most mental health professionals are dedicated to helping others. It's important to have proper oversight and ethical standards to prevent abuse.
