Do you think schools take mental health serious enough?

Do you guys think that mental health is taken seriously by schools these days? I feel like some schools around the country are doing their part in trying to help, but I imagine some aren't doing enough. What are some things schools can do to be better prepared for mental health emergencies?

No, schools often don’t prioritize mental health enough. I’ve seen students struggle without support. You need counselors and programs, not just lip service. When I was in school, they ignored anxiety issues, leaving me to cope alone.

I have to agree. I think a big reason why schools don't help much is because of their budget. It seems as if schools often cut budgets and in turn cut programs that are there to help with mental health. If you don't have the resources, it's going to cause problems for many students.
