Researchers have found that when you cuddle with someone you care about, oxytocin, a calming hormone, will be released, they have a lot of health benefits including lowering your blood pressure and stress levels. Cuddling is not only good for your baby's health but even help you sleep well, help your heart, relieves pain, helps you fight cold, and last but not the least connects you with your partner. If you are a parent, cuddling with your baby helps you to connect with them.

Cuddling can help, I have experienced this. When you get to cuddle with someone you love, stress and anxiety will be gone. It is temporary feelings, though.

We emphasize a lot on good touch in the initial years of development. Cuddling is one of them. Good touch not only helps in developing the bond in children, it helps them to develop a trust in world and relationships. It helps them build their self esteem in long run.
In adults too good touch in form of hugs and cuddling is very much recommended to maintain a healthy bond. It releases happy hormones and had a positive impact on our health.

Cuddling really helps with stress. I’ve noticed that a simple hug or close contact lowers tension and makes me feel calmer. It boosts oxytocin, which naturally eases anxiety and strengthens emotional connection with the person you’re cuddling.

Of course, cuddling is awesome. Who doesn't like to be held by their loved one and cherished? If I'm feeling down, a good cuddle can really help. In general, I think being near your partner in that way is the plus. It's like a connection.
