Have you ever gone through depression for months?

I’ve had a sad day or two, (usually with anxiety) but I can’t say I’ve ever experienced depression for more than a couple days, never a week, never a month or for months at a time.
I can only imagine how it can build, the longer it goes on. Anxiety can feed off itself, as well.
Have you ever experienced long bouts of depression?

I have never gone through depression for more than two days. I live in a society where no one really cares about how you feel in terms of depression. You are expected to brace up, find strength and live your life. That's why people hardly have sustained depressions here. I don't get depressed for more than two days.

Thankfully, I have not experienced depression. I can easily twist my thinking and feeling of whatever is felt. Just don't take a problem seriously. Be practical and realistic.

Apart from being depressed temporarily, I never have had any issues with depression. However, my father suffered from clinical depression for over 10 years. Thankfully, he was able to cure himself through alternative healing methods. For a lot of people depression is a life long issues.

I have had to deal with depression a few times, but it is usually for a day or two, and not even the whole day. I have never had to deal with it for an extremely long period of time.

I can't let my depression last for a long time. It would damage too many things and I would end up losing from so many ends. When things happen and I fall into depression, I make sure that I try as much as I can to build mental strength and rise up quickly from it.
