How do you cope with stress?

Stress is very common in our life. We will be stressed out because of obligations we have to fulfill (tasks you have to complete, responsibilities you need to fulfill, etc.), frustrations (because you did not win a lottery), anger (because you picked a bone with your girlfriend), and things like that.

When you are stressed out, how do you cope with stress?

My favorite way to handle stress is go for a long walk.

I have to admit that stress is always there maybe because I have an emotional imbalance. But as much as I can I try to fight off stress with relaxation. I called for a massage tonight so I am expecting to have a good night's sleep. I also focus on the tv after dinner just to make me relaxed. In short, stress can be avoided if I get excited or I am relaxed.

Sleep is my answer to stress. On a very busy day, I would take a nap in between activities. That would calm my brain and give my body some respite. For me, sleep is my coping mechanism with stress.

Stress is real it is to take regular exercise. make time to relax. spend time outdoors and plan your time. Another is to have a healthy sleeping pattern.

There is something very powerful in sleep, same goes for me. If I can just settle down, even if it takes hours, once I get that sleep I notice the anxiety goes way down.
A rough night’s sleep can easily set you up for a day filled with anxiety.

When I’m stressed, I try to stay active, going for a walk or doing a quick workout helps me clear my mind. I also take deep breaths or meditate to calm myself. Talking to a friend, listening to music, or spending time in nature helps me recharge.
