Money and Depression

Obviously, money means a lot in the world. In fact, it's no wonder the Bible, for instance, makes it a big point to downplay it's importance to people.  Anyway, of course money is a big player in depression as men and women struggle to provide in a very harsh world.

Well, how do you feel about money and depression and how can people overcome money related sadness and anger?

I am always going to feel depressed if I don't have money because there is nothing I can be able to do without money.

I believe that money and depression is 100% connected and you cannot take out the one from the other.

I do have some concerns regarding money but this hasn't really led onto depression. Why? Because I know there is ALWAYS someone better off and worse of than you are. Even if you have 1$ to your name, there's someone who is worse of.

Not having money can be a worry to me, but what I have always tried to do is focus on staying happy and strong with the mindset that what the future brings is always better. I don't let the lack of money get deep into my way of life at all.

Money affects depression in many ways. Financial stress can lead to anxiety, hopelessness, and low self-esteem. Debt, job loss, or poverty can worsen mental health, while financial security provides stability. However, even wealth doesn’t guarantee happiness, as pressure to maintain status or dissatisfaction can persist. Even though money influences mental well-being but doesn’t solely determine it.

Money can definitely play a roll in having depression. The cost of living continues to rise and on top of that if you do deal with everyday depression you might need to go to the doctor more often and that racks up bills. Also if you ever borrowed money from other people, you would feel obligated to pay these people back which can add more pressure on yourself.

No matter how we want to look at it, money and financial resources play a big part in how much we are fulfilled in life. Anyone that doesn't have financial security would always be worried and anxious. Those that don't even have hope of financial resources fall into depression.

Money is the major cause of the depression that people go through. When people have financial needs to meet and they don't have the financial resources to meet such needs, they look helpless and useless. From there, depression would surely set in.
