PTSD from War

Many soldiers have nightmares and other major problems from war. How might this be dealt with? Why is it some soldiers get PTSD, but others, experiencing similar things, don't?

I haven’t experienced war but I can understand how PTSD from such intense trauma deeply affects veterans. The memories, anxiety, and emotional struggles they face are immense. Supporting them with empathy, therapy, and a strong community is so important for their healing journey.

I am not a soldier and I have never been caught in a war zone but I witnessed a bloody armed conflict in our country for 10 years, more than 17 thousands people were killed, and thousands of people are still lost and hundreds of thousands were injured. I can just imagine what kind of trauma these people or their surviving families are living with.

Some people get PTSD and some don't and they experience the same experiences. This makes me wonder if there is some supernatural stuff involved.

Well, some have said that curses were placed on US soldiers in Vietnam, for instance.
