Should kids make use of social media platforms?

Lots of people say that social media can be a form of distraction to a lot of kids around the world. There is toxicity in some social media platforms, and that is the reason I am always worried about kids making use of social media platforms such as X and Facebook. What do you think about kids getting involved?

This is very correct because allowing your kids to make use of smartphone when they are very young is likely going to damage their thinking and mentality. It's going to be as a result of all the nonsense they are going to see on social media platforms.

You might not be able to stop your kids from using social media. You might not give them a mobile phone but they certainly have access to computers and internet, so you cannot stop them from using social media. The best approach is to monitor what that are doing on social media.
