I’ve definitely wrestled with this, I experience the feeling guilt when I’m not doing something “productive.” It’s like rest becomes a weakness instead of a necessity. But over time, I realized that constantly chasing productivity just leads to burnout. I’ve had moments where I was so obsessed with ticking tasks off my list that even taking a break felt wrong. What helped me shift was understanding that rest is productive, it recharges your creativity, sharpens focus, and prevents mental exhaustion. Learning to embrace stillness, even just for a day or an hour, became essential for both my well-being and long-term performance.
