Here are some common thoughts and behaviors associated with stress:

I am weak: Beng hard on ourselves
It is all too hard: Finding life hard
My future is dark: Worrying about the future
Everyone is against me: Getting into arguments or fights

Do you associate with any of these thought patterns and behaviors?

I think everyone experiences these thoughts at some point, especially during overwhelming moments. I try to catch myself when I’m being too hard on myself or worrying excessively about the future. Walking, gardening, and focusing on small wins help me shift my perspective and manage stress better.

Stress can bring a mix of both thoughts and behaviors that can be tough to manage. I often experience negative or anxious thoughts, like worrying about what might go wrong, or feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities. Behaviorally, stress might make me procrastinate, become more irritable, or withdraw from social activities. Sometimes, I might notice physical signs like clenching my jaw or feeling tense. Recognizing these patterns helps me address them.
