What are some effective ways to encourage open conversations about mental health within Gen Z communities, and how can peer support networks be strengthened to provide aid and understanding among this age group?
I encourage open mental health conversations among Gen Zs by creating safe spaces, like casual meetups at local cafés, where they can share without judgment. Educating through school workshops, like ones at my community center, normalizes therapy.
We need to push forward approaches that normalizes the struggles that people go through and are bound to go through. That would make young people to be more bold to talk about depression and mental health challenges they face on a daily.
