Therapy for many is a key thing to getting by in your day to day life. Some people rely heavily on therapy to help them with their mental illness or other such problems, but if you don't have insurance, or bad insurance, you're probably not going to find much options for cheap therapy. Therapy can be expensive, and sometimes it's not covered on insurance.

With that being said, if you're unable to go to therapy because you can't afford it, what do you do then? What are your options for therapy if you're poor?

If you can’t afford therapy, explore community mental health centers, online support groups, university counseling programs, or sliding-scale clinics. Many nonprofits and apps offer affordable or free mental health support, and self-help practices like journaling and mindfulness can also help significantly.

If I cannot afford therepy then I will check something online which I may be able to do by myself or will explore any health centre where I may be able to get those therapy cheaper than others.

This one is tough. Therapy not is not a joke at all, especially here where even basic health care is a big struggle. What I usually do is journal or talk to close friends that won’t judge me. Sometimes, just walking around or praying helps me clear my head. There are also YouTube videos and online groups that give free mental health tips. They are not full therapy, but it helps manage it until you can afford real help.
