Why is anxiety common in millennials?

Many millennials, myself included, struggle with job insecurity and economic instability, among other challenges. Millennials are also experiencing issues with social media pressure. Constant connectivity in our digital lives can be overwhelming, contributing to chronic stress and anxiety. Furthermore, the pressure to succeed adds to the stress. I understand that anxiety doesn't affect every millennial, but why is it particularly common in this generation?

Anxiety is common among millennials due to the impact of social media. Another is economic uncertainty, and the pressures of modern life. There's also the increased competition for jobs and career satisfaction now

I see anxiety as common in millennials due to financial instability, like juggling student debt and low income. Social media comparison, such as scrolling perfect lives on Instagram, fuels insecurity. Career pressures, like chasing promotions in competitive jobs, and always-on tech, like late-night work emails, keep stress high.

Anxiety is common in millennials because they are suffering from job pressure and family responsibilities. They are the ones who are holding various different kinds of responsibilities in our society. This does not mean that older generation is not holding any responsibility. Older generation is also holding high position in many organisations. However, millennials are younger generation. They have to build family, so they have a big responsibility over their shoulders.
