Mental health grows with confidence. How do you boost your self-esteem? Do affirmations or achievements help most? How do you help yourself to feel better about yourself. What’s one thing that’s helped you feel more confident?

I boost my self-esteem by celebrating small achievements and practicing positive affirmations daily. Setting realistic goals helps me see progress, which builds confidence. What’s helped me most is focusing on my strengths rather than weaknesses, making me feel more capable and secure.

Self esteem is the state of your mind about yourself. I have built a strong self esteem over the years. Most times, I look at the mirror and tell myself positive words that has help build me. I celebrate myself a lot. At any point when I fail, I don't allow any negative thought. I always brace up and challenge myself to do better. This has helped my mental health.

I build my self-esteem by constantly reminding myself that I am special. My mentor used to tell me never to allow anybody Make me feel less of myself.

Affirmations do not work. In fact, a couple of years ago, a study was carried to see how affirmations work on people and it was discovered that affirmations make people more miserable. If you want to build self esteem, you need to improve yourself in the areas where you are less confident. If you have low esteem because you are not good at something, you need to improve your knowledge and skills build expertise. If you have low esteem because you do not have great appearance, you will have to dress properly to boost self confidence. Don't remind yourself that you are best, don't act like you are the best. By doing it you will only be lying to yourself. Instead realize your shortcomings and work hard to overcome your short coming.

My self esteem is boosted with the more financial strides I am able to make. As a man, I am driven by financial results. And anytime I get one, my self esteem and confidence shoots up a notch.
