With rising costs and stagnant wages, many young adults feel hopeless about the future. How do you cope with money stress?
In case you are a Gen Z, do you believe you’ll ever own a home or retire comfortably?
At this point, I don't know if the next generation will ever be able to retire. Hell, I don't think I will ever be able to retire, and I'm a Gen Y. The way the US has gone with the cost of living, it's almost like they want us to work until death.
Gen Z faces financial anxiety due to high living costs, debt, and uncertainty. Yet, many seek early financial advice, save for retirement, and explore new investments, showing hope for overcoming challenges and securing their financial future.
Gen Z are more into hustle culture, instead of taking a good job, they prefer to go for gigs. They take money, enjoy life, and then come for more work. With this kind of life, there will be no financial security, no retirement at all.
When a generation goes through the global economic recession and the Covid 19 pandemic, you expect that generation to not be financially anxious. They would certainly be. One thing that I have come to love about Gen Z is that they are very practical in taking life decisions in relation to their finances.
