How parents affect your daily mood?

How parents affect your daily mood? Are they understanding to you, do they give you privacy or are they nosy? What annoys you most when having to deal with parents? Are they way too strict, do they forbid you to have fun with friends? Do they want to know who you like what you are typing to people?
I always hated when my parents were nosy. They were always: What are you typing, to who you are typing, why you spend so much time chatting etc. I almost had no privacy..

Well, I don't live with my parents so I don't really go through any bad mood with them. Sometimes staying under the same roof with them would not give you the privacy you need

Some parents, especially African parents would scold you with some strong words that would affect your mood for the rest of day. I remember back then my dad didn't waste time to call us "useless". And that didn't just affect our minds negatively for the day but it gave us inferiority complex that I had to fight hard to break in adulthood.

Parents can deeply influence your daily mood, whether you're living with them or just in regular contact. Their tone, support, criticism, or emotional state often sets the emotional tone of your day. A kind word or shared laughter can lift your spirits, while nagging, tension, or emotional distance can bring stress or sadness. Even small interactions, like a warm greeting or a harsh comment, can linger in your mind. I’ve found that when communication with parents is healthy, it creates a sense of emotional stability.

I don't live with parents so they don't affect my mood. But when I was living with them, they tried to exercise their parental advises and most of the time I thought those advice were useless, so we used to have a lot of disagreement and it affected my mood.
