The Rise of ‘Bed Rotting’: Self-Care or Avoidance?

Gen Z’s "bed rotting" trend involves staying in bed all day. Is it a needed mental health break or harmful escapism? Where’s the line?
Here is a question for Gen Z. Do you unapologetically bed rot, or do you fight the urge?

I think “bed rotting” can be a helpful mental health break when used to recharge, but it becomes harmful escapism if it leads to isolation or missed responsibilities.

I do not think this is only with younger generation. I also like to do things from my bed. It is just so comforting. However, there is certainly something called over doing it. Outdoor life is also important but sadly young people have so much thing to do indoors that they are not going outdoors. This is taking a toll on their mental health and physical health.
