What’s your favorite way to express your emotions?

My favorite way to express my emotions is through art. Painting and writing help me release feelings, gain clarity, and find peace within myself :)

I either talk to myself and reason out, figure out and decide how a situation might be best tackled or I turn to music when I am down.

My own favorite way to express my emotions is through singing. I'm not the best singer but whenever my emotions are pouring over, only singing helps me get it all out.

That's beautiful! What type of songs do you enjoy singing most?

I bother people. Lol
Like family members, my doc, anyone who will listen.
Oh, it’s reassurance-seeking to the max, I admit that. But it really is the only thing that helps when I’m freaking out about something.

You do that because you crave the attention that it provides you.

Art is a beautiful outlet! Does reassurance always ease your worries?

So far, yes. It gives you the feeling that you’re “not the only one” and the BEST thing is when someone says something like, “Oh yeah, my mind has done that before. It’s stupid, and it goes away.”
That right there, those words are golden.

Haha no, you’re confusing reassurance-seeking with attention-seeking.
Reassurance-seeking stems from anxiety, also, OCD. It’s actually a compulsion you see a lot in OCD sufferers.
Attention-seeking stems from ego. This one’s a pattern seen more in the personality disorders, like narcissism, histrionic, and borderline personality disorder.

I like to write. In fact I started writing as a way to express my pent up emotions. I started by writing poetry, essays, then finally moved into stories and novels. Most of my written works shows my mental conditions at the time of writing.

I always leave my emotions in a song. When I am going through an emotional moment, especially the sad moments, I try to create a song or poetry out of it. It sorts of gives me relief when I write a song or poetry out of my feelings. I later sell those songs I write in those moments.

I'm a fan of writing things out to express myself. It's been something that I've been doing for many years now. It's my go to coping skill.
