According to some studies, talking to your mother has the same effect as getting a hug and it can help you reduce stress levels. Studies suggest that even the sound of mother's voice can release oxytocin and help reduce stress and anxiety.

How often do you talk to your mother? How do you feel in her company?

I talk to my mother a lot. Intact she is the one I talked most to as I'm not that close to my dad.i know that my mum is one person that i can discuss anything and everything with

I talk to my mother frequently. I’ve noticed that being in her company or just hearing her voice brings a sense of comfort and calm, almost like a stress release, and makes difficult days feel more manageable.

My mother lives with me, so I talk to her regular. Sometimes she is busy with daily house chores, so I do not disturb her. There are many people who do not live with their mother and I think that this is the saddest part.

I talk to my mother on the daily. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't talk to my parents anymore. They are a big part of my life and I hope they are around for many years to come.

I call or video call my mom almost daily and chat with her for some time. I do the same for my mother in law. I am very close to my mother and I can share so much with her. My mom is a retired professor of psychology and has been practising clinical psychology for her whole career. I get very patient listening ears with no judgement.

I talk to my mom every blessed day. And I would agree that there is this calming effect too get when you hear your mother's voice. It has some reassurance about it. There is no day that my mom doesn't call and we talk for up to like five minutes.

My mom is the real MVP of my life as at now. I talk to my mom early in the morning, because she calls to find out if I am awake. I also call her in the afternoon to check up on her. There are days we would talk on phone and still get to see physically too.

My mother passed away when I was of 4 years so don't know about the affection and relationship of a mother and a child. But I have seen people saying that the most lovable person in their life is their mother.
